Hybrid Energy Storage System

Introduction

For my MSc dissertation, I completed a study on the performance of the hybrid energy storage system. The system consisted of a hybrid of a wind turbine and a fuel cell backup. The whole system was modelled and simulated under Matlab Simulink and was tested for various electrical parameters and weather conditions. The dissertation covered the various energy storage systems that can be implemented.

Tools & Technologies

The whole model was developed on MATLAB Simulink Platform. The tests for various weather conditions and scenarios were simulated on Simulink and the results were recorded. 

Results & Inferences

While the system proved to be stable initially under various weather conditions, many variations in the output and instability across the spectrum were observed
